VPower Group Receives Top Performer Award from Myanmar Government

At the Anniversary Ceremony held by the Ministry of Electricity and Energy (“MoEE”) of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar on 13 December 2020, VPower Group was presented Top Performer Award for the outstanding operational performance of its power station located in Myingyan, Myanmar.

The power station, with an installed capacity of 109.7MW, commenced commercial operation on 1 February 2019. Since then, the power station has provided stable and reliable supply of electricity to the national grid, contributing to Myanmar’s aspiration of achieving universal electricity access by 2030. On top of the operational excellence of its power station, VPower Group is recognised for the engagement in corporate social responsibilities to support the local community development.
